Employees who had been with the company for 30 years, 25 years and 20 years were presented with gifts. Employees who have been with the company for 10 and 5 years were also recognized for their loyalty.

Special anniversary: 30 years with SOFLEX
Three decades in the service of SOFLEX Fertigungssteuerungs-GmbH - Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Thomas Kieninger is celebrating an extraordinary and rare anniversary. He has accompanied the company from its beginnings to the present day. His know-how and experience are invaluable. From the birth of our main product - SOFLEX-PCS - to the present day, Mr. Kieninger has led and advanced product development over the years.
"When I started at SOFLEX 30 years ago, writing "guidance system" on a circular surface with a plotter was an achievement. At that time, screens had a resolution of 25x80 characters, memory was calculated in kilobytes and Ethernet had not yet been invented. Hardware and software have undergone enormous changes in the last three decades, and the performance and associated possibilities have increased exponentially. Keeping up with these changes as a human being is a constant challenge in itself. But the real challenge is to turn what is possible into a useful and therefore smart product for the user's automated production systems. For me, it is always an exciting process to recognize the essentials from the overall picture and, even with more than 30 years of experience, it is still an exciting task that motivates me and that I am able to carry out in a team with great colleagues at SOFLEX," says Thomas Kieninger, Authorized Signatory Head of Product Development at SOFLEX Fertigungssteuerungs-GmbH.
